Well PFM's first birthday has come and gone, and what a hectic year it has been.
It has been a very hard year with new sites opening up, staff recruitment and training and sadly no time for celebrations. Well, we will have to work on something for next year!
However it has not all been just work! The benefits of working in the Torres Straits is the fresh sea food from the clear waters around Poruma Island. Occasionally the staff trade with the locals for some fresh Cray Fish and of course the guys always bring back their catch to the kitchen to cook up.
The ladies on site are all excited because when PFM first mobilised to the Island they threw a message in a bottle into the sea and they got a call. Someone has found it!!!!
